Threaded Bar
Threaded bars consist of hot rolled, continuous coarse threads over the entire bar length. Due to the hot rolled threads which are self-cleaning, these solid steel bars are best suited for geotechnical applications. Applications include, but not limited to, micropiles, anchors, soil nails, rock bolts, marine ties, form ties, mining & tunneling.Benefits of Threaded Bar System
- Steel bars can be cut and coupled without any additional threading at site to connect couplers
- Splicing of threaded bars using coupler is simple
- Threads being hot rolled and with coarse pitch make it screw-able in challenging site conditions, thus making it best suited for geotechnical applications
- High relative rib area provides maximum bond stress between steel bar and cement grout
