Round Steel Bar
Round steel bars are usually used for marine tie anchorage system. Threads are rolled which are durable compared to a machined thread (for dynamic loads). Also, rolled threads have a better profile accuracy. Compared to machine threads, fibres in the steel are uninterrupted in rolled or hot rolled threads. After rolling the thread, the outside diameter of the thread is larger than the diameter of the original steel bar.
We provide round steel tie rods in upset & rolled threads or rolled threads up to a maximum diameter of M160. Most of the steel load-bearing components and steel assemblies are CE marked. All the round steels that we supply are manufactured using continuous casting method, that means material properties are uniform throughout the entire cross-section.
