Expandable Friction Bolt is a reinforcing system used for immediate stabilization of rock and soil mass for tunnel fortification, mining and underground construction.
FORCETEC Expandable Friction Bolt is a reliable, simple, fast and high-performance rock bolt system suitable for various ground conditions from hard to soft rock. It consists of folded steel tube (omega shaped) with upper bushing (sealed end) and special head bushing for inflation. These rock bolts are placed inside the borehole and inflated using high pressure water pump. It then expands, fills and form the shape of the uneven borehole thus developing mechanical interlock and friction throughout the entire bolt length.
